Stackwright

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Stackwright starts as a friendly little puzzle about stacking shapes to reach a goal. Then around level twenty it grows teeth. Suddenly you're accounting for gravity, weight, and balance, and it becomes wonderfully brain-melting.

What I like is that solutions are usually flexible. There's rarely one perfect answer, so experimenting is encouraged rather than penalised. When a wobbly tower finally holds, it's oddly triumphant.

It's the ideal one-more-level game. Sessions stay short, hints are available if you're truly stuck, and there's no timer breathing down your neck.
